MB HF-75 Half Haunch Bar Hanger 90º

The HF-75 is a 90-degree hanger that will accommodate various size haunches from 1 inch height up to 4 inch heights. Another version of Meadow Burke’s Bar Hangers, this model has a bearing plate under the vertical height tube member to provide for better stability.

This hanger requires that a hole drilled to a depth of 4 1/2 inches, cleaned out, and a coil rod anchor be epoxy installed to provide anchorage to the opposite end. (See Bridge Hanger Repair Procedure, Page 60).

The offset from beam to bolt centerline is 1 1/8 inch, however, the vertical tube for the coil bolt may allow rotation of the bolt approx. 7-degreeº which may permit another 1/2 inch offset (depending on haunch height). This hanger uses 3/4 coil rod bolts.
