The Scaldex Sumo masonry support serves to support brickwork above openings or at overhangs in the facade or to create a dilation joint in the facades where needed.

  • The Scaldex Sumo is the latest generation of masonry Supports from the Scaldex product range for the support of facade brickwork. These profiles are primarily used above large windows or corner windows, at cantilevers, as a starting profile or to create dilatation joints in the facade. An invisible finish can be realized with the suspension of bricks below the profile, using the  complementary stirrups.
  • The Scaldex Sumo was specially developed for the ever-increasing cavity width and for applications with heavier loads.
  • The Scaldex Sumo is custom produced in our state-of-the-yard manufacturing plant in Belgium. These profiles are standard available in galvanized steel and can be coated in any RAL-color for a more aesthetic and durable result.
