Leviat Announce Ground Breaking Stainless Steel Concrete Fixing Screw for Highly Insulated Façades with 60-year Warranty

The revolutionary Ancon CFS+ stainless steel concrete fixing screw is designed for use with the Ancon 25/14 Channel System, accommodating up to 270mm thick external wall insulation in concrete-framed net zero carbon, BREEAM, Passivhaus and other very highly insulated developments.

Developed in collaboration with façade fixing specialist, Certifix, the new fixing screw is the first of its type to be manufactured in 100% thermally efficient stainless steel throughout. It is designed for use with the popular Ancon 25/14 Channel to provide a fast and reliable fixing solution for highly insulated, next generation net zero carbon and Passivhaus developments

Initially developed for Dunfermline Learning Campus, a major Passivhaus development in the UK involving a 250 mm external wall stone wool insulation layer, the new CFS+ fixing screws have demonstrated an exceptional level of reliability, with zero fixing failures reported for the many thousands of screw installations made into the development’s C45 concrete frame.

With an extended 60-year performance guarantee, the new 100% stainless steel screw is faster and easier to fix to high strength concrete frames and has been shown in thermal models to reduce thermal transmittance across the wall structure by an amazing 50%.
