The CCPI, managed by Construction Product Information Ltd (CPI Ltd), requires manufacturers to make sure their product information is clear, accurate, up-to-date, accessible and unambiguous. The CCPI Assessed Mark confirms that an independent assessor has found Leviat’s product information for this product set conforms with the relevant clauses and minimum requirements of the Code. The assessment relates to product information only.
Leviat has been awarded the CCPI Assessed Mark for the product information covering its Ancon masonry support product set.
The assessment applies to:
For brick contractors, architects and structural engineers, this means the information they use to design, specify and install these Ancon systems has been independently assessed against a common set of requirements.
Mark Smith, Technical Director at Leviat, said: " We’re delighted that Ancon’s masonry support product set has become CCPI Assessed - helping to provide greater confidence to product users that the product information for these products is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous.
“Leviat is proud to be one of many construction product manufacturers committed to higher standards in construction product information, marketing and product claims. The CCPI is playing a pivotal role in driving up standards in product information and marketing and facilitating positive culture change. We’re committed to working proactively with the CCPI to raise standards in our product information management and marketing.
"Masonry support is our starting point, and we are working towards CCPI assessment for further product sets across our portfolio. Alongside this, our technical team will continue to support customers from early design stages through to installation."
