The Precast Concrete Institute's Productivity Committee has selected Leviat to be one of 10 presenters to take the stage during the annual Innovation Sessions during this year's 2024 Precast Show in Denver, Colorado.
Edward Alvarado, Leviat’s Product Manager for Anchoring and Connections in North America, will deliver a presentation covering the benefits of the Halfen HEK3 Weldless Precast Panel Connection System
Traditional welded connections demand skilled labor and lack flexibility once cast. Repairs can be costly and time-consuming, often requiring additional materials and welding. To minimize these issues, Leviat has developed the Halfen HEK3, a mechanical connection that installs easily and can be subjected to load immediatly after the bolt has been properly tightened.
Alvarado will cover these benefits, outline the installation process and discuss other technical details of the hardware during his seminar on Friday, February 9, at 11:20 am at the Colorado Convention Center in Mile High Room 4E.
