The National Museum MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Station serves as a pivotal underground station along the Kajang Line in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Situated beneath Jalan Damansara, adjacent to the iconic National Museum, this station offers seamless connectivity to various local attractions in the capital of Malaysia.

Reliable Solutions with Moment Rebar Couplers

The use of Moment JoinTec (JT) coupler (Type A), featuring internally threaded couplers with a single right-hand thread, has greatly simplified the design of slab castings for this MRT station. This innovative approach has not only made construction more straightforward but has also reduced the amount of reinforcement needed, addressing potential congestion issues during construction.

By ensuring a reliable mechanical connection between reinforcing bars, the application of JT Couplers has enhanced the structural integrity of the slab casting, contributing to the overall optimization of the construction process. This underscores our commitment to excellence in infrastructure development.

Collaborative Efforts with MMC-Gamuda

Leviat has been at the forefront of supplying Moment JoinTec (JT) couplers for multiple MRT projects across greater Kuala Lumpur since 2011. In collaboration with MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (UGW) Joint Venture for this project, Leviat has successfully delivered JT couplers, showcasing a commitment to elevating infrastructure standards in the Asia region.
