Role Purpose:  

Feasibility studies and price calculations of sheet metal, welding constructions and special projects.   

These responsibilities will require working closely with the Sales mgr special projects and the operations managers at Buggenhout, Londerzeel and Ternat. The price calculator reports directly to the operations manager at Buggenhout. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Feasibility studies of sheet metal, welding constructions and special projects   
• Price calculations of sheet metal, welding constructions and special projects   
• Develop possible optimization of the customer proposals   
• Propose redesigns to have a better fit with the automated production equipment  
• Work closely with order intake, purchase, planning, method engineering and the workshop supervisors.  

A special project consists of a combination of sheet metal lasered, tube lasered, sawed and bended elements in welded parts or constructions with possible galvanization and powder coating in our own plants.    

Experience required:

Education: Bachelor/Master (Engineering or Science)  

 Specific Knowledge:  

• Sheet metal and light construction competence 
• Excellent technical skills 
• 2D design- basic 3D design 

 Working Experience: (Must Have/Be)   

• Proven work experience in price calculation 
• Worked in a Performance driven company 
• Capable of working to deadlines
